DEVOPS

DevOps (a clipped compound of "development" and "operations") is a software engineering culture and practice that aims at unifying software development (Dev) and software operation (Ops).

Course Overview

The main characteristic of the DevOps is to strongly advocate Automation by monitoring all steps of software construction from development, integration, testing, deployment and infrastructure management. DevOps aims at shorter development cycles, increased deployment frequency and more dependable releases in close alignment with business objectives.

At the end of the DevOp’s program participants will

  • Define and manage the roadmap for implementation of DevOps
  • Learn code repository development and management which includes usage of tools such as Jenkins, Git, Puppet and Maven
